The last version I paid for was 21. Glad I didn't shell out for any of the last three...21 was the final straw. I'm shocked so many people keep thinking this cycle is going to change.
I wouldn't be surprised if they kill the game next year and blame the fans for lack of interest. They have NEVER listened to their fan base, except the HUT people. They remove things we like, and add things no one asked for and no one wants, and when we complain, we get crickets.
Every year, they have to patch the hell out of the game right from the start in order to make it even moderately playable. For anyone to suggest that this game is worth the price tab they keep slapping this thing with is absurd at this point.
Only played one game since the update.
Defending feels different, I felt more in control when going for a check. Wasn't missing as much and when I did miss I wasn't flying up the ice like Usain Bolt.
Also the CPU didn't seem as fast when trying to get the puck back. Always felt like the CPU reaction time to retrieve the puck was way too fast.
