As a former LG player that stopped playing when I switched from 21 last gen to 22 new gen when all the big defensive nerfs were coming into play, there's no way I would ever enjoy playing 24 6's w/ a goalie anymore. No way. That ship sailed a long time ago. I don't know how these guys do it without flinging their controller at the walls.

More than I've ever seen in the past 3 years the players are raging more and more. The game is becoming less consistent and great plays just aren't getting rewarded.
I have absolutely no idea why anybody in their right minds would play defense competitively this year. Forwards are far more involved in defense than actual defenders. They are the ones using pokechecks, not the defenders. Defenders are playing sooooo passively in this year.
I think it's by design though. Scoring wasn't super high (due to goal line goalies) in the past few years for comp 6s so this is their way of increasing scoring.
The 1.2 patch caused our EASHL Custom Jerseys to no longer function, instead we are forced to play in a generic black NHL jersey. Nothing we have done works as a fix, other than switching to one of the stock jerseys.
My favourite thing in this patch might just be the following though: "Fixed an issue where Away and Alternate fonts for club jerseys had extra color zones with no functionality."
I reported this issue. The thing is, these "extra colour zones" DID have functionality. They were the only way you could change the colour of your captaincy patches. You could just not see that, since the (lousy) UI didn't show these patches even if you are indeed a captain yourself.
The issue I reported was that you could not see the changes you made, and that the home jersey lacked the options altogether. The developers have misunderstood the issue to the point that they "solved" it by removing the functionality from the other jerseys too.
That's EA Sports for you. They'll misunderstand the issues of the game, introduce two new problems for each one they try to solve, and push out fixes with, apparently, zero testing whatsoever.
It's a shame that a game with so much potential, that can be so fun, is held back to this degree. Never seen its like.
