I think players like you abused the magnetic aspect of the old hitting system. The tractor beam-like way users could literally alter the path of the skater you’re hitting (especially with truculence) was incredibly OP and unrealistic.
Hitting aside, I still don't understand why they would lower the CPU ratings? They were already not the best, and now goalies are letting in everything. It takes no skill to score now against a CPU goalie in WOC. Just skate into the zone, shoot it, and score. Also frustrating from a defensive standpoint to force players into low-percentage shot situations, only for it to go in anyway because the goalie does nothing. I understand they're trying to incentivize playing more with human goalies, and I do think human goalies needed a buff, but I personally don't have any friends that play goalie, nor do I prefer to play with human goalies, so I'm unsure why EA basically also took away the comparable CPU option by making them absolutely terrible and unable to make most saves. This game was in a decent spot, and just needed a few more minor tweaks, but now it seems more broken.
Community ManagerWe're aware of the feedback on goalies from the patch. It's possible changes could be made.
What is the point of having strength and body check stats if you guys just edit it on your side? You making it so those stats mean nothing now.
My biggest complaint on this game is 95% of all goals are short side goals. It's unreal and not fun.
