Great job by EA listening to the community on bringing back the control layout that was removed, maybe there's a chance they will announce that FULL presentation will also be returning to NHL 24? What do you guys think? Does it stand a chance?
They say they listening to the community when they prioritises and put things in the game.Well we had a 100 pages ++ and A LOT OF dissapointment fans all over the internet for NHL 23 so they had the time to put it in NHL 24.So the conclusion is they has it not on their prio list in the near future and maybe never again so it is not going to make a diffrence how much we are begging or pray how much we want full presentation back and i am very sad about it.
I often think if NHL had the same presentation as MADDEN or close to it it would be the most beautiful sport game ever made and it is a shame the developers do not want us true hockey fans to have it.
Community ManagerYou have to keep in mind that there isn't one audience for this game. For 24, we prioritized the online experience as that is where we got the most feedback. This also makes up the high majority of the playerbase. If it were the opposite and the offline players were the majority, chances are good that's where the focus would have been. We really can't act on all the feedback from each part of the community year to year. Some areas are going to get more attention than others. As has been said numerous times, there is a plan for offline modes. You all are being listened to. Acting on that is coming in the future.
Didn’t receive a code for Playtest. Anyone can tell me if there are at least opposing team goal replays ? I hate I need to go to instant replay to go look for the goal. It’s BS.
@EA_AljoYes sure can be that your priorities go more to online for NHL 24 cause maybe more playerbase. You need to know it better. But is it an excuse for removing presentation from NHL 23 or presentation from years ago like the goalie presentation at the start of a game before or many other presentation during the years ? We had a lot of discussion last year, especially from offline gamers about. So how can the offline community believe on the words of your team to do something in future ? Sorry, but we hear year after year that the main priority ist the gameplay. Myself does only see a progress offline with self created sliders. With self adjusted sliders and for example with broadcast cam NHL 23 offline works great. Sorry to say directly but from my point of view the online gameplay with classic cam doesn't look like an NHL game. I appreciate your work and what you are doing here. It is a hard job, so please do not feel offended about my personal meaning.

2022 - roster share ( doesn't count for me personaly cause I am one of the bigger roster creator every year and EA didn't make it easier about player creation for us. For example. After every merging process with our cap's we loose the whole changes of the EA roster from before and need to recreate equipment, ratings again cause it went back to standard. Of course advantage for people which have no time, or no fun to create own rosters. They can get a good roster free for download. )
2023 - nothing
2024 - ?
Next three years as they promised now ? Don't believe myself in the future plan for offline modes.

Another note regarding offline/online players. EA nhl 24 has set up the Rivals and Hut Champions exclusively for online players. Now you would think that they would at least allow the offline community the opportunity to complete objectives. But sadly...No! They toss in an objective obtained in Rivals, making it impossible for the offline player to complete all objectives including daily, to receive the reward for doing so. Your contention that the game is geared more to the online player, than offline. Fair enough. But when you totally ignore the offline community, by isolating them from ALL rewards (Objectives), you are in essence telling them, they don't matter. After all. NHL is all about money is it not. The more it can generate the better. Probably why all the suggestions and concerns about problems in the game go ignored. Of the 4 major sports games in the market. Madden NHL The Show, and of course European Football. NHl is by far the one at the bottom. Game use to be of solid content at one time. Where the player, and the game came together for an enjoyable experience. But those days are now long gone.
I hate how offline players have to suffer with that nerfed poke check. Clearly a result of online poke spammers.
I've played this ea nhl games many years and have to say this is by faaaar the worst gameplay ever. I dont know what were they thinking making this. Hitting/tackling is so stupid and bad making this game so arcade. Ai is so bad making plays and defending but penalties they can do and ruin a good game..
