Seriously guys, there is no need to make the game this hard. It's not in the slightest bit enjoyable. I'm no noob to the game, been playing it for 30+ years. Rookie is like playing Superstar on 23,playing Superstar on 24 is just impossible,even against teams with 20+ lower than myself. I spend at least 5+ hours a day everyday playing the game and no matter how much I dominate the stats it only takes the AI one or two shots to score, whilst I'm hitting 30 odd shots on target and I'm lucky if one goes in. Add to that the ridiculous amount of tripping penalties from the AI, on both sides. It's got to be averaging at least a dozen a game. There is many aspects of the game that are much improved from 23, but it's went from one extreme to another. I've never felt so frustrated with NHL as I am just now. I agree 100%. Scoring is darn near impossible. I miss when I could just play after work for a bit and enjoy myself. This one it seems like you have to master every deke to even have a chance to score. I don’t have the time or the patience to master this game. I just want to play it.

I dont agree. I play on superstar offline and the first thing i have to do is up the goalie sliders to around 80. I avg 4 goals on 5 minute periods. Please do NOT make the game easier than it already is.

I agree 100%. Scoring is darn near impossible. I miss when I could just play after work for a bit and enjoy myself. This one it seems like you have to master every deke to even have a chance to score. I don’t have the time or the patience to master this game. I just want to play it.

Tried every move I know with little success.
Previous years were never an issue scoring, this year is brutal.

@Stubo_NHL24 OK I see, I usually play franchise, I'm not to familiar with rivals/hut , I know on superstar this year with the gameplay setting adjusted the game is alot more difficult then last year, took me longer to get it just right, but I can see what you mean.

So bloody frustrating.

Offline. I like to play the 3s circuit every year to unlock everything. It’s not that I’m losing playing pro or semi pro. It’s that every game takes 10-20 periods cause while my defense is on point I can’t put the puck in the net unless it’s luck.

I respect that EA wants to present a different challenge this year but it’s too much. They made the goalie superhuman

Instead of slowing the game down, making passing more difficult, making shots slower, making the players skate at inhuman pivots and deking, etc. they've opted to just crank up goalie save reactions to make it seem as if they don't suck by getting scored on by every shot because it's so bloody easy to create high danger chances.
