NHL 24 Feedback
To date, I can genuinely say NHL 24 is the WORST hockey game ever made.
- $90 to $130 for an unfinished game. - Bugs that essentially break the game where it’s un-playable.
- Glitch goa...
@EA_AljoI dont know how this game works. I know, that that pass, maybe should be defended to going to knee :D but thats other problem, if you do this, in 70% it will be own goal. And i know how to defend cross passes, normally only this works, that you stand in front of the net, towards to enemy, to be puck visible for the defender and in 90% he take that puck. But litterally, this 4 goals was his only chances in the game :D And dont know why, what is working in 95% games, doesnt work against him :D but on the otherside, for him it was working and he doesnt need to take a knee once...
In my experience, it's not 70% of the time resulting in an own goal. It happens, but it's very uncommon. Cross crease passes aren't easy to stop. I just don't rely on standing in the lane and hoping they get intercepted. I do all I can to get my body in the way. In most situations, I can see it coming and anticipate when they're going to make the pass and drop to a knee or dive. In many cases I try to be more pro-active and play the carrier aggressively so they have a hard time getting that pass off to begin with.
@EA_AljoTake a knee or dive is one of the worst things you can do. Dive is only last option and its work like 50/50. I ma watching like almost all PRO players how they defend it and i am learning from them. Also you can notice, how pro players defending cross passes if defender is in the line of the pass. But i get your point and i agree that using dive or knee would be better, but i learned by the years, thats worst defending moves in NHL series. Try to take a look on some twitch pro players streams and you will see, how easily they defend crosses same as i did. I can provide some clip, when i met some cross player in WL and how this will work.I was defending it like that because i was sure, that my player take the puck as i am used to. And okey, if this was like 10th try of cross passes from him, i am okey with it, but 2 crosses with defender on right position and 2 went trough, on the other side was like 10+ attempts and any of them went trough
I'm not saying I do that every time. Diving, dropping to a knee work very well for me under the right conditions. I break up the cross crease often with DSS and pressuring the carrier. I just try to stay in front of the pass and cut off their passing lane. Again, I don't rely on just standing there and hoping my player intercepts it. In most cases, they won't due to the speed of the pass and reaction time of my player.
