Nhl 24 hitting
Why did you changed the hitting ? The hitting and hitting controls in this game is not working at all . Are you planning on bringing back hitting and the hitting controls (skill stick ) that we have ...

Now skill stick users have to use a “slapshot” motion to throw a hard check, if you miss you are out of the play, which would be fine if when i do connect and hit the player they are out of the play as well. Far too often you hit someone and they bounce up and are right back into the play before you are. Thats the part i hate.
You refuse to use Total Control because it makes hitting easier?

@KidShowtime1867Nope. I refuse to use it because ive used skill stick since it was implemented years ago, i think it was ridiculous to put in a simple button push for dekes and take out the skill aspect of it. The hitting part is also made easier by a simple button push but i dont use total control because i dont like the offensive side of it. I also hate how the reverse hit is now.
Reverse hit is just R3. Hitting was one button push before too (Right stick Up).
One flick up for shoulder check, but not for hip check. Hip checks are simple now and most guys just hold down the button and if you run into them you fall. My dislike for total control is more towards the no skill involved on the offensive side vs the defensive side. My gripes are make it easier for offensive players and harder for defensive players. I am using a 6’6 250 lbs DD and you have a 5’7 165lb dangler… if i do connect with this crappy new “slapshot” style hitting, the dangler shouldnt bounce right back up 80-90% of the time and get back into the play before the DD. Yet, a dangler can use total control, press one button and do a michigan deke instead of having to learn the skill like previous years for deking. I get you say that total control is 1 button for defense as well but a check vs a deke where you have to normally(using skill stick) use multiple button combos and joystick rotation correctly to pull it off is not the same.
