NHL 24 Honest Final Thoughts

I haven't played an NHL game in many years. Since i came in fresh without years of fatigue, i was surprised how much fun i was having!

I mostly played HUT.

I hate online because i don't know the gimme goals. Usually the opponent lights me up with garbage goals. This year seemed different it wasn't always the same type of goals. I actually won a few games. Really preferred burst. Get in and out quick. Only played online when there was a daily or weekly objective. Please don't make rivals only objectives in NHL25!

Moments are better when i don't have to play on the 2 hardest difficulties. Why does the Ai retreat back to their net every time i try to do an objective!? Even on rookie!!

Really enjoyed squad battles!! It would be great if the rewards were based on set tiers. I detest when school is graded on the curve. 

I felt surprised and happy the Canucks seemed to get fair attention with new cards! 

Events were good when upgrading was with power up collectibles. The events with player specific tokens can lick dirt!!! 

I spent money way too much $300-450! Only 2 packs were worth it. Guaranteed xfactor packs (earlier in the year) the rest of the time it was just throwing money away. I really think there should be a limited 1-3 times to purchase 100,000 auction house currency.

Someone needs to update fantasy cards on Mondays! 5 days a week would be great! If you are only updating 3 days then make it M W F.

I'm subscribed to EA Play because of the discount for HUT. EA Play should provide HUT rewards! Without HUT freebies i don't think I'll continue. I wasn't rewarded for spending real money. 

The gameplay itself was fun! I really think scoring on a normal one timer should work more than it does. That's a real hockey goal. Loved total control having a 1 button body check.  I dislike right stick checking. 

I really really enjoyed the whole year! I'm still playing. Great work EA!

Just don't slip backwards with convoluted events. Keep it simple. Power up collectibles ftw.
