NHL 24 HUT Content 4/19

Why the repeat Leetch? He just got a buildable 94 a couple weeks ago. Plenty of guys who haven’t gotten an MSP. Burns hasn’t gotten one yet in his 2 years with the Canes. Drai is another guy without one.

Cool stuff! @EA_Aljo anyway you can reach out to the team about team of the season collectibles, I’m stuck with 20 collectibles from trading in stuff and I don’t want to build any other master set cards. If they don’t want to do trade in sets for packs like team of the year can they at least make a trade in set for the new event for collectibles. Kinda sucks I didn’t expect that to happen. 

So if my team did not make the playoffs, should I assume I’ll never get any new cards for them moving forward? Not trying to troll but seriously wondering as I haven’t owned the game for a few years.   Should I anticipate all the new content moving forward to be playoff specific?

@EA_AljoCan you explain why Leetch and Jagr got a repeat MSP? Jagr is acceptable because his first MSP is only an 87, but Leetch just got an 94 overall MSP in the last event before TOTS and now he gets an 96 overall MSP right after TOTS. Can you explain why that happened?

Fantasy Hockey Durzi should be a 90, not an 89. He was at 88 before his goal in the last game of the season and as a defenseman he should get a +2 upgrade so he should be a 90.

And how are you expecting people to complete the Stanley Cup Playoffs objectives? I mean we can currently get 10 event collectibles from the objectives HUT Rush, but we need 15 event collectibles to build a single unupgraded MSP. And we can only get 6 of those 10 event collectibles without already having at least one Stanley Cup Playoffs cards. And we don't even get any low overall Stanley Cup Playoffs cards from the objectives and HUT Rush like we did in almost all events prior to TOTS. It would be very nice to get an explanation on this as well.

And regardless of the objectives, I don't like the fact that 15 is the smallest number of Stanley Cup Playoffs collectibles that can be used in a set. I don't understand why we are not allowed to exchange a small number of Stanley Cup Playoffs collectibles for a pack or something.

Edit: I just noticed that there is a free daily pack with a Stanley Cup Playoffs collectible in the store. That helps a little bit, but it doesn't fully compensate for the cost of building an unupgraded MSP and the lack of low overall event cards as rewards in the objectives and HUT Rush.

@EA_AljoWhy on Earth does the content team think repeating Master Set Players is a good idea. It's not.

Also, is Filip Hronek the only other defender on Vancouver?

- Myers had an amazing SHG the other night and still only has a Community Request card.
- Nikita Zadorov has only gotten a card when he was traded (84) and nothing since.
- Carson Soucy has no other cards.
- Ian Cole who played his 800th game this season has no other cards.
- Mark Friedman was traded to Vancouver from Pittsburgh at the start of the season and did not receive a Transactions card.
- Noah Juulsen has had a bounce back year with VAN and has no special cards.

ENOUGH with the repeated cards. And a 4th Gretzky (who already had a Gallery of Greats 88 OVR item) is total nonsense.

There's no way the content team is doing a bad job by accident. It's almost intentionally poor quality.

@MonsterMilz43 is 100% right. Have 10 left over and assumed we’d be able to trade them in for packs like TOTY, Fantasy, etc. There’s a bit of inconsistency here that isn’t leaving a good taste…
