Great list! The AI are holding this game back so much. I just made another post of my own outlining these thoughts, but a lot of the core gameplay features could be much more balanced in the AI were better. The AI not being able to do extremely simple things with any consistency makes for people asking for crazy amounts of speed and for all AI players to stand still and do nothing, and all of these bandaids have turned this series into something pretty unrecognizable from it's 08-14 days where it seemed we were continuously marching towards a balanced blend of realism and hockey.
21 and beyond have been straight arcade. Not even remotely close to sim. That seems to be the biggest disconnect in the community right now. I don't think the people who like this direction really understand how sharp of a turn away from sim this series has taken recently. I am genuine when I say that I can watch a 6s or a HUT comp game and see quite literally no resemblance of real hockey whatsoever. I find a game with rocket powered cars to flow and look like hockey more than the one hockey game on the market. That's a problem. This series is no longer trying to be hockey, its trying to be a generic esport with hockey elements and I'd argue it's not a very rewarding esports experience either with extremely small skill gaps in places where there should be large gaps, and vice versa leading to a frustrating and inconsistent experience.
