Nhl 24 New Hitting Mechanism Ruining Game.
I appreciate the pass upgrade and the improved graphics, but the modification to the hitting buttons has made the game nearly unplayable for me. I preferred the previous right stick hitting mechanism...
@bruins2222When a player is skating close hold down right on the right stick and it will do like the old hitting where it kinda aim assist and when the time is right you push up to deliver hits. It takes getting used to but once you get it down it's quite effective.

Watch closely in the video when I am going for a hit that is the game pulling me towards the attacker with the puck and I pull back to my left willingly. It was to show that holding downward on the right stick has aim assist. So tinker around with it some and I think you will catch on.
