@RigorousBarley I'll reserve judgement on the changes implemented for now, but hip checks are indeed among the worst offenders in the gameplay and it's disappointing to see it being ignored again.
Regular hitting was better (in CHEL) until they reverted it. They may have gone too far and could have met somewhere in the middle instead.
If you're going to leave those checks as is, at least fix the hip checking.
Regular checks are exaggerated, but hip checks are straight up cartoonish.

I hope the dev team allows an option to disable the on-ice graphic for the sustained pressure. Keep the mechanic in, but please clean up the graphics on the ice itself.
