@EA_Aljo Personally, I'd like to see more authentic, real-to-life camera angles used for goal celebrations.
In real life after a goal is scored, you do see the camera cut to the player who scored, but it's usually from the angle of a camera at ice level behind the glass or a camera in the stands. The current spotlight celebration in 24 just looks very jarring and out of place. It feels less like an NHL broadcast and more like a Fortnite stream on Twitch.
If you go back to NHL 15/16 and just watch the intro presentation, it's incredibly realistic. You had shots of the city/arena, players taking the ice out of the tunnel, goalies stretching with their stats overlaid, the commentators green screened to look like they're really in the arena, etc. Virtually all of that presentation has been completely lost in recent years.

@SummerOfDekes Miss those days with the nbc package and hopefully for nhl 25 we get either tnt or epsn
- KlariskraysNHL3 years agoHero+@Bruins063 Probably won't happen since the tv deals aren't for very long and if the NHL were to move from one and/or both it would need gutted out meaning a huge time sink. Now if the NHL were to have long deals in place after I could see it becoming a thing, but it would also need those people to be a part of the show to which isn't always easy.

Until the old-guard is gone and some young blood who actually understands these kinds of things becomes an NHL exec, we're stuck with lame decisions surrounding branding of any sort.
