Many things are good in this video but with those short intros before the game starts with no goalie presentation and their stats the feeling is like the game is only half finished.Why bother with nice intros like this but you only se them in a flash?.We need those longer intros before the game starts and never going to understand why they are gone.

Let’s give credit when is due. Good job EA for new face scans, adding cage/full visor on every helmets. The no tape stick, the attention to details on what it seems, every NHL jerseys to be HD with ads. The new creation zone updates and upgrades (clapping). I can’t wait to create my 09-10 and 13-14 rosters on PS5. It wouldn’t be a forum without complaints haha, so I’ll go with 5. Not really complaints but constructive suggestions.1. As many players before asked/suggested. The spotlight goals are not bad. But it feels like they will become so repetitive and over the top for nothing in short time. I don’t mind having them for milestones. 25-50-60 goals during a year or 200th goals in a career. To see them every time, away teams.. huh..2. Pressure system. Sleeveless gaming on Youtube, and many other players just like me are somehow off about this idea of a bigggggg circle in the middle of the zone. Worse, the big rectangle with a 30 seconds countdown. I saw this kind of graphics watching hockey on TNT for Powerplay. So I get where this comes from. But, why not using boards or let us remove it in options? Every threads and comments I see speak about this…3. Let’s talk about audio! Great to see new songs, better atmosphere in the game, it was much needed! I’m hyped, butttt in NHL22, we had passing, shots, horn, songs through the controller speaker. NHL23 didn’t have it. Will it be in NHL24? For those who don’t have, mute it or remove it in settings. But I thought it was nice to hear crisp passing in my controller. And we all know EA can, they did it. 4. It’s a picky little thing and I might be the only one who cares about that! Window reflections. We didn’t have them in NHL22, EA put them in NHL23 and god it was a nice little sleek touch. But then, in NHL24 no more! Any explanations why? Because of the broken glass? 5. Finally, last thing, I created a thread about this. Could it be possible to have visor Malkin, Sykora and other players wore in 2003-2011. Since the design is already there, the full face and cage can be put on any helmets. It would only requires to remove the bottom part.

@EA_AljoYes having the goalies presented before the game is very important and give the whole game a much better feeling and you also would know which goalie who starts on the other team that is BASIC stuff.And all the work to the gameplay going to be so much better.If possible the intro should start from the locker room seeing the players walk in the players tunnel and then skate out to the ice.Then a short warm up some various arena shots then nathional anthems and last they show the goalies with stats.Doing this for gameday atmosphere with todays graphics would most certain be the most beatuful sports game.Thanks for listening.

@RatedxPGxEnigma Too add to your times,
MLB has multiple varieties of a Broadcast from regional for the majority of the games to a full on broadcast for bigger games/ playoffs

Madden (which I haven’t played in a long time) at least gave you a half heartedly halftime show and gave you a look around the league

NBA 2k literally has the TNT panel minus all the TNT graphics. Every graphic labeled in their version of 2k.

I can’t speak on FIFA because I’ve never played it.

Broadcast is a huge plus as you see in all of these games. Why EA has gone away from even a barebones version of it is beyond me. I dream of a day when EA NHL has an actual broadcast with a mini pregame/ intermission report.

@BoredJason13 That would be a dream come true! I hope we get something similar to the nbc package and I think intermission reports would be sick!

in the year we had to suffer rushed intros that went so far that they didn't even introduce us to the goalkeeper. the great criticism didn't even help to give us back at least the introduction of the goalkeepers ..EA is the bottom

@Froommey what settings and sliders are you using for 23? I am also a Franchise only player and I am always looking for ways to make the mode different. I set up rules for myself regarding trades or ratings of FA I can sign etc. Would love to see the setup you have.

@BahamutaI play with hybrid controls and broadcast cam. The slider also depends about your playing skills. I would suggest to visit the Operationsports NHL forum and to try @PernellKarl027 sliders. He is doing an amazing job for offline gamers.

What a joke. 100+ page threads on presentation last year adds up to 10 second intros. But they "listen to the community." Right. I miss the days of 1:30 intros, but even 30 seconds sounds amazing right now.

Will the goalie stats in the game intro be added this year? It was in nhl22 then removed for nhl23. Really important feature for franchise gamers?
