NHL 25 Franchise

With it being announced that franchise mode will be getting a full revamp does this mean online franchise ?

We'll have more news on Franchise Mode as we get closer to release. However, there won't be an online franchise mode this year. Last year, we mentioned that Connected Franchise was a multi-year development focus area. While Connected Franchise is not coming to NHL 25, we understand how important this is to the community and we have dedicated resources investigating what is possible for the future.

Ok it won’t have a gm connected mode, but can we invite a friend to play a coop game (in the same team) in the franchise mode, like we already can in the hut and other modes ?

I've bought every franchise of NHL since 92 on Sega Genesis  these days I rarely actually play the game all I do is fantasy draft and Sim seasons with my friends. we were all so excited that now that the game is only on next-gen consoles that this would be the year that online franchise mode and or Season mode would be offered ,

how hard is it to implement this.
