In Franchise mode, the trade system needs to be fixed. Trades should be equal, not overpaying for literally everything, and have them make counter offers in trades, just like in real life. Also when negotiating contracts, have counter options come in.
Agree with game presentations to build game hype. Pre-game warm-ups, announcers who sate all the things you brought in during their game building hype
Should also be able to look at each player to see how many cups they have won, what awards they have won, playoffs and regular season stats.
Completely agree about the fans, they are stale and dry, need to be a lot more active in building hype and getting involved in the game.
Add in post game interviews of players and coaches with different rewards for various answers.
Add in in post season and pre-season interviews, again with various rewards for different answers.
I have mentioned this in a few other posts, but awards ceremonies for player/team awards
Have player video montages when they won an award, and when players retire from the game.
Show a season highlight reel at the end of a season. Do the same for when the team finishes their Playoff run
Fix the player movement screen please!!!! Should be able to sort players by positions, by overall, alphabetical, etc. And show player salaries/contracts in the screen, should have the Player Movement screen look and have the same mechanics as the trade screen. And in this screen have the teams you created, this way you can move players onto created teams without having the double up. Having to hide players elsewhere after moving the onto your team is just annoying.
When creating teams, allow us to create their affiliate team, that way when you add them to the league you aren't forced to have them have overseas AHL affiliation, which makes no sense at all.
Allow us to create underaged players and actually have them be part of the roster if we wish, same with moving underaged players to other teams, let me choose whatever team I want to move them to. Its my game I should have that freedom. If Foreign teams can have underaged players, you should be able to move those payers around between teams. especially now that we have reached the end of the hockey season, these players aren't actually underaged anymore.
Allow us to pick the start date of our custom league so that it doesn't plop us right into pre-season games, leaving no time for meaningful trading/signing before our games begin.
