Does anyone know if the NHL 94 controls are back for NHL 25?

Skill Stick, Total Control and Hybrid are carrying over from NHL 24. We have made some improvements such as moving reverse hit on a dedicated button away from pressing R3 to ensure shooting can occur as expected
- @EA_Aljo That doesn't do a thing for me... I told you before & I will tell you again this is a huge spit in the face for the super handicapped & older generation folks I was playing the EA sports NHL games since I was 10 years old & after 25 years or so this is how we are treated? There is a petition on change.org that started last year on 10-6-23 to bring back the NHL 94 controls since then hundreds of people have signed it and more signatures are on the way... once again we are going to make our voices loud & we want them heard & we will not rest until they are heard

This change wasn't made to specifically upset players that prefer that control scheme. It's most definitely unfortunate. Especially, for those with mobility issues. I myself am one of the older folks, but I've also been using the skill stick controls since they were first introduced almost 20 years ago. I know that not everyone's history with this game goes back that far or people chose to still play with the controls from NHL 94 instead of adapting to the more modern controls. There's nothing wrong with that of course. Unfortunately, as time goes on, we're going to have to have control layouts that better support the current generation of the game.
What specifically about the Hybrid controls do not work for you? I can pass on that feedback to the team.
- @EA_Aljo I have 2 ideas & I am serious about this... Idea #1 is exclude the Hybrid controls & replace them with the NHL 94 controls & idea # 2 is making the hybrid controls just like the NHL 94 controls but still called the "Hybrid controls" if one of these 2 ideas come true I am certain that it would be the absolute end to all of this
