@PernellKarl027 I've tried your sliders for 23 as player-lock in season mode and it was ok gameplay-wise (if you like that "full-sim" feeling) but it did nothing for actual AI behavior. There is no way to edit AI behavior in this game like there is in NBA2k, for example. In 2k, you can edit player tendencies and it actually makes a difference in what the AI-controlled players will attempt to do on the court. IMO, NHL REALLY needs this.
I'll post a video/thread some time soon about my AI teammates' propensity for deking as soon as they cross the blue-line with the puck. It's so bad it's almost FUNNY. Suzuki/Caufield deke to the middle almost EVERY TIME on the rush.
As far as not calling for passes goes: I try to play that way but it's downright LESS realistic at times if you always refrain from calling for passes. I say this because the AI in this game won't make backhand passes up the boards when you're wide open as an outlet on the wing in your zone. You HAVE to call for it otherwise they'll just ignore you. Hell, I sometimes have to call for it in the offensive-zone as well otherwise one of my "top forwards" (LOL) will just turn straight into a body-check while carrying the puck. So bad.
I appreciate your response, though. I know you're passionate about the offline side of the game. That's the thing... I'm usually an ONLINE ONLY player but I DO like playing BaP to spice things up when I get frustrated with OVP.
