Sadly, the best place for inspiration of intros and game modes... would be for EA NHL just to go back and actually look at their own older games they created for concepts on how to fix their current games. Take a game like NHL 14 which has lower graphic fidelity, it had a better thought-out and more prepared intro than any of these new ones (custom-made or generic). The game flow was sluggish but closer to how it feels than the faced paced NHL Hitz style gameplay we have for NHL 24. If only they did not completely destroy their own structure (NHL 15), we could have actually had a good game.
