Most likely this has to do with licensing. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a rule against adding the NHL shield to fictional teams. However, you can use NHL branding in WoC. Regardless, I like the idea. Thanks for the feedback.

@EA_Aljo Technically they can add a blank sheild without NHL letters shown. This would get around the licensing issue.

    It's very possible the overall design of the shield is part of the licensing. I really don't know what all is covered with that.
