So, everytime I try to change my play by play name, it always resets to A.J. after saving. If I change any other detail, such as jersey number or fighter, it stays with the changes I made, but play by play name always goes back to A.J. after saving and exiting the edit player screen.
Any fix?
Same problem here. At first I thought it was the same issue as last year on NHL23, with some names missing audio. But like the OP mentioned, you're unable to change play by play name in be a pro as saving the change don't work.

Just to add to my comment and the video, after some testing, I discovered this just happens if you edit your player at some point after you start your career. It could be anything, your skates, your stick, your beard, doesn't matter. But, if when creating your player you select any given play by play name, it will remain and be told by the commentators as long as you don't edit your player after the creation screen.
And controller settings for goalies are not saving in BAP. Along with the broadcast names, controller settings are not saving. They save on the main screen, but once you get into your BAP file, no controller settings save, so before each game, you must start the game, then pause, then go into controller settings and change it it to your preference. If you like the default settings, then nothing to worry about, but I am not a fan of the tethering so I turn it off before every game no matter how many times I save my BAP file.
