Please allow us to remove reverse hit from R3

@EA_AljoYou guys more than likely aknowledged the R3 reverse hit missclicking issue and made the appropriate changes to R3 but cannot see the exact same thing/issue happens with L3? Which is an annoyance for some peoples... And I bet a simple thing such as a disable option hasnt been considered either.
Pretty disapointing :/

It is highly annoying. Which is why I remapped L3 to one of the paddles on my Elite controller. That's been the best workaround I've found for this, unfortunately.

Thats the very thing about it Aljo, you should NOT need to remap your L3 at all, even yourself is admiting it is highly annoying...
L3 was perfectly fine and they decided, all of a sudden, to impose that dumb change on us without asking the players and without a single alternative to who ever prefer the previous controls.
Since bringing it back to a face button with proper tuning is a supposedly impossible mission, add a disable option, just that, it cant be that hard to make and you wont hear of me anymore.
Why cant they just follow the L3 standard ...Move+Running/speed boost, thats it. Instead of changing something that wasnt broken. jeez..

I dont get that obsession of ''you play under my terms'' and nothing else. Giving more customisation is always welcome, not one person will ever complains agaisnt that. More enable/disable option added for such things as protect puck, reverse hit, pressure meter appearance on the ice, smart passes (dont remember the real name) icons, different type of players icons AKA circle or the good old triangle above the head, etc...

I'm not even one that complain a lot actually, I can live with most issue in the game and all the RNG....But when it come to the very most important aspect of the game, the controls, I cant just wipe it aside, full control of our guy and hands mean everything in this game... I cant tell loud enough how annoying it is particularly one on one with the goalie, going for a rather simple left and right dekes and that obnoxious protect puck trigger to screw up everything just because I accidentally pressed the stick a little too hard..

There have been very few requests for protect puck to return to a face button. Most likely due to the many years of outcry that we do something about LT'ing. Which, puck protect was a key part of. I understand not everyone is happy with this change. However, it appears the majority of the community is.

I’m a little confused about this.

So it has been assigned to a new button or combo for the total control then?
Or, is the reverse hit completely removed from the total control?

I didn't have any issuse with it on R3, so best the option would be to have a ON/OFF slider in the controlls menu or something.

Unfortunately, no new details on this. Hopefully, I'll have some news to share before launch on Friday. Otherwise, we'll know then for sure.
