@TasteofChicago91 Dude idk what league you're watching but in the NHL it's realistic to close out on someone coming up the ice with their head down with a big hit.

I watched hockey all the time and go to a lot of games.. it’s not realistic to have huge hits all game and big hipchecks.. if you saw someone in real hockey going for huge hits all game you’d see lots of penalties.. so I’m glad ea is keeping it realistic and not catering to the players who can’t adjust.. funny thing is I never get hitting penalties but I use a combination of methods to take the puck..
If you want I could help teach you and help you get better? we shouldn’t blame ea all the time when sometimes it’s us making the mistake.
I agree with you that real games don’t have all these crazy big hits. However, the boarding in this game is completely broken. I’ve hit players who never touch the boards and get a boarding call. Please explain how that is ‘realistic’. Elbowing, charging, and cross checking are already providing the deterrent to constant big hits, but the boarding being this broken is just silly.
