Pls Update International Sweden, Finland, Czechia, Swiss, Slovakia & Latvia

First thanks for updating Canada, USA and partially Denmark and Slovakia on the last update. 😊

*** DON'T NEED TO CREATE NEW PLAYERS JUST COPY AND PASTE THEM TO INTERNATIONAL TEAMS ***

Below is half the work for you … in brackets are EA NHL 24 present overall ratings of players.

Sweden needs to add Adrian Kempe (87) of the LA Kings and 3rd goalie Filip Gustavsson (84) of the Minnesota Wild. Maybe add Leo Carlsson (82) of Anaheim.

Finland needs to add Mattias Maccelli (84) of the Coyotes, Eetu Luoistarinen (81), and Niko Mikkola (78 – should be higher) of the Panthers. Maybe add Urho Vaakanainen (78) of the Anaheim Ducks (who has already played 31 NHL games this year)

Czechia needs to add David Jiricek (81) of Columbus, Jiri Kulich (75) of AHL Rochester, Vadim Zahorna (78) of Pittsburgh, former NHLer center Roman Cervenka (78) of NL Papperswill, and AHL D-men Stanislav Svozil (74) of Cleveland Monsters and David Spacek (67) of AHL Iowa Wild while removing lower players like Martin Beranek, Michal Moravcik and Gabriel Szturc.

Switzerland must have NJ Devils goalie Akira Schmid (81) and Columbus D-man Tim Berni (78) (who played 59 NHL games last season & now with NL HC Geneve-Servette). Maybe add the AHL goalie of Charlotte Checkers Ludovic Waeber (71). Remove Gilles Senn, Raphael Diaz Tristan Scherwey & Yannick Weber. One can add former NHLer Calvin Thurkauf (74) of HC Lugano in the NL who is presently leading the league in points.

Slovakia is missing players like Samuel Knazko (73) of AHL Cleveland Monsters who played 2 NHL games last season, Milos Kelemen (72) of Coyotes, Pavol Regenda (73) of Ducks now with AHL SD Gulls, Martin Chromiak (68) of the AHL Ontario Reign, former NHLer Marek Hrivik (70) and Peter Cehlarik (74) who both plays for Leksands of the SHL. (Hrivik was Slovakia’s Captain) Patrik Koch a d-man for AHL Tuscon (who doesn’t appear on the AHL roster but has played in all the AHL games this season with 7pts in 26 games – formerly of HC Vitkovice of Czech league) and long-term veteran/Olympian Libor Hudacek (67) of HC Trinec and his line-mate and former NHLer Marko Dano (74) of the Czech league as well. One can remove Mario Hunter & Villiam Cacho.

Latvia who won BRONZE at the World Championship is missing half their team. Latvia should have Eduards Tralmak (72) of the Czech League Kladno. Latvian defensemen Janis Jaks (68) and Kristaps Zile (65) playing for Czech HC Litvinov were among the top Latvian d-men and National team Captain Miks Indrasis (68) plays for Brynas of Allsvenskan and is among the top-10 scorers in the league and his Latvian teammate d-man Karlis Cukste (62-too low). Also, Oskar Batna (58 should be higher he was Latvia’s tournament MVP) of Jukurit of Liiga and Rihards Bukarts (62---too low … he was highest scored the world’s championship of 2023) of NL Biel-Bienne. One can also add youngsters Niks Fenenko (65) of QMJHL Baie-Comeau and Sandis Vilmanis (66) of OHL North Battalion (both top WJC players for Latvia)

For Germany one can add D-men Kai Wissmann (66) who played in AHL for Providence just months ago (now with DEL Eisbaren Berlin) and Maksymillian Szuber (66) who presently has 14pts in 32 AHL for the Tucson Roadrunners.

Denmark can also add multi-Olympian Frederik Storm (70) of DEL Kolner and Mikkel Aagaard (64) of SHL MoDo who is among the SHL scoring leaders so his 64 should go up by at least 8.  REMOVE Mikkel Bodker as he just retired from hockey.

France needs to add Justin Addamo (61---too low) of ECHL Wheeling Nailers who also played 9 AHL games and Pierre Dube (68---too low) of AHL Hershey who has 19 AHL goals in just 36 games. Can add goalie Julian Junca (60) of ECHL Tulsa Oilers to France.

For Austria, one must add Marco Kasper (75) of Grand Rapids of AHL and Konstantin Komarek (66 – should be higher) of Vasteras of Allsvenskan league (who is the #1 scorer in the league at 1.25pts/game). Team Austria should also have John Hughes (69) and d-man Phillipp Lindner (65) of Villacher who are among the top scorers in the ICE league for forwards and d-men. One should also add d-man Clemens Unterweger (64) of KAC and d-man Alexander Pallestrang (64) of Pioneers Voroarlberg and especially young scoring forward Seena Peeters of HC Innsbruck. Forwards Benjamin Nissner (68) and Mario Huber (68) both of HC Salzburg (ICEHL) are among Austria’s finest.

For Italy, one should add Anthony Salinitri (70) of the Graz99ers, forward Alex Petan (67), Daniel Catenacci (66), and d-man Nick Plastino of HC Pustertal and d-man Randy Gazzola (69) of Asiago of the ICEHL as well.

For Norway, one could add Markus Vikingstad (64) of the DEL’s Fischtown Pinguins and D-man Ole Einar Engeland Andersen (64 – too low) of AIK of Allsvenskan after scoring over a point/game in the Norway league last year. And especially add the 2024 1st rounder from Norway to team Norway Michael Brandsegg-Nygard (70) of the Allsvenskan league Mora IK.

PS: Japan, Korea, Ukraine, are made up of 90% fictional players who are now in their 40s in the game … can’t we add real players who played in the IIHF National teams to those teams
