Proper Replay System
Time for the yearly plea to EA to provide us with a functional replay system. I figure if I do it earlier this year maybe we'll see some improvements for NHL 25. I see a lot of people on this forum...

I wholeheartedly agree with all of this. I made a thread on the subject about 2 weeks ago and got no replies. Thought I was the only one… I’m gonna add some stuff to your list if you don’t mind 🤔
I know that guys that play online, don’t necessarily have the time to play with the replay system and so on, but for OFFLINERS, the replay system is completely outdated…
1) Why is there no sound when you go in replay mode ? This has bugged me for years and years…. I'm a huge replay buff and it would be awesome to hear the sounds of the game and the reactions of the crowd. I bet that could have been an issue with old Gen and the memory buffer, but with NEXT Gen, I don’t think that should cause a problem 🤔 In F1 games they have sound in Replays. Imagine having F1 replays without sound ? For me it’s the same with hockey. Replays with no sound is MEH 🫤
2) Why can’t you move freely around the arena ? Would be nice to fly wherever in there, instead of having invisible walls that stops your movements with the free camera.
3) When there’s a goal, would be nice to have replays from all sorts of angle until the user hits a button to stop them. I mean, I’m offline, I can spend the time watching a play over and over to see what I did good or bad on a certain play.
- @PernellKarl027 Yeah, I mostly use the replay system to see how things worked ( or didn't ) during a play. But I like your ideas, especially coming from a perspective of wanting to create more entertainment content from replays.
