Having to “charge up” a high flip directly affects your ability to 1) clear the puck on the PK, and 2) set up a dump n’ chase on the entry. And if we could all stop pretending slapping/snapping it down is sufficient that’d be nice too. We need more options at our disposal, not less.
I will say the tuner update made the flip “less useless”, meaning now instead of taking 5 real time seconds, it now takes about 3 to charge up fully, but we’re still talking about degrees of useless here. And we all know real time seconds in this game is an absolute eternity.
This game needs to be going in the direction of being MORE usable, not less usable. I agree with you dude this is totally unacceptable. Anyone who has watched more than 10 minutes of a single game of hockey understands easy high flips are totally and completely necessary.
Get rid of the charge up mechanic. It’s totally antithetical to the game of hockey even as it stands with the update.
