Just because you could put truculence on and steamroll everyone last year and can't do it this year doesn't mean it's a problem. It's one of the things they actually didn't make that bad of a change. Just goofing around, I used a 2 way dman in drops and just played a game of constant hitting whenever that chance was there and I had 25 hits. There is nothing wrong with hitting, im not even a hitter but I looked up how to do it properly and now when I want to, I hit whatever I want to. Learn how and you'll be fine.

I would say shoulder to shoulder or hits from the side are wildly inconsistent and now if you don't get the fortune of an animation then you're out of position.

Not to mention players just pop back up like nothing happened. 

The hitting in nhl23 was pretty realistic and now its just some shoves and loose hits . This game should be advertised as The end of the hitting era

I've got no issues hitting! I find this year to be wayyyyyy better then last year I've got 1200 hits!!

Not everyone can be happy I guess.  Maybe you should just play nhl 23.

If you think that NHL 23 had realistic hitting, it says everything about how little you know about hitting in general. Again, if you can't hit in this game, it is YOU THAT IS THE PROBLEM. learn the new way of hitting and you'll be fine.

Haha ok . Whats frightening is that there are people that actually defend this new crap 

Slower game speed and skaters and hitting gone . The low skills players must be happy 

You keep talking about low skill players enjoying the game but you say the hitting last year was perfect. Last years hitting was a joke and was exactly what you think this years game is. It was so easy and rewarding even when you were unskilled because hits locked on and destroyed people with truculence. Hitting is harder this year and some people for whatever reason can't figure it out and yet anyone that enjoys this game is low skilled? Talk about a hypocrite.

I cant stand this game and think it's an abysmal mess that shouldn't have been released but hitting is one of the things that really isn't an issue.
