Constant color flashes
Have we ever been given a reason for the constant flashes of color or random polygons that show up when playing? What is this? Why is it happening? Why is this the ONLY game I see this in and its bee...

Played 5 drop ins since I posted earlier, 3 games had the bug. Happens more often than not.
Edit: just noticed that playback quality of the video actually changes how bad the bug is occurring, the minute long clip at 360p hardly shows anything but if you set it to 1080p you see the full problem. This is beyond me, maybe it's to do with the 60fps.

It's been happening since they put out the outdoor rinks, especially bad this year. It'll go unfixed just like last year and the year before that.

I understand that it’s not your job to make the actual fixes and I appreciate the reply, but like others have said this has been happening since outdoor rinks. It’s ALMOST understandable if there’s a visual bug that takes a couple weeks to get fixed but this has been years of flashing with plenty of video to show what’s happening. I’m just not understanding why there’s such a disconnect between the devs and the community in terms of getting things like this resolved.

I understand people think this is simple, but if it were it would have been handled by now. Also, we have to consider the priority of it. While it's been around for awhile now, there have been bigger issues to address.
@EA_Aljo So then be an honest company and say: "We're not fixing that right now as we don't believe it is a priority for us."
Honesty goes a long way but instead companies choose to play the "will they, won't they" game to string their users along.

That would be a lie then and I'm not going to do that. It's very possible this will get fixed.

I'm not a developer so I don't know exactly what bugs are currently being worked on. I know we would certainly like to address it just like all the other issues. There's no big line through it saying we're never going to fix this. There have been more important issues to handle first.
The good news is they added one button dekes, a shop that no longer has anything in it, and a pressure system that no one likes and no one asked for. Certainly more important than all the bugs!
Maybe NHL 25 can have nothing new and just make a game without all the bugs? Make it like a real finished game like games used to be. Now we buy a full priced game and hope bugs get patched. Wild time to be alive!

This is 100% it. Like they keep showing off YouTubers coming in to film cellies - which whatever to each their own - but the actual visual bugs that exist surely has to take priority over that?
Maybe it's time EA consider retiring the outdoor rinks or at least upgrade to something more winter classic oriented, put us back in indoor arenas. Anything but the same visually broken garbage year after year. Put some of our hard earned money into this game already.

Getting rid of last gen won't do much just look at the PS4 games. Starting from scratch is a longshot unless this team sticks around for multiple terms, as we know they work in 3 year road maps.

- @EA_Aljo Could we possibly get an actual developer that is allowed to speak in here, then? No disrespect to you and the work you do, of course. You do a good job at relaying information.
They need to hire more devs and actually put the effort into things that matter to the player base. Ditching last gen would be a start but I don't see companies like EA just passing up on that sales figure to actually make one of their games better.
Port it over, throw in a broken new control layout, remove one entirely, change the one that worked the best and slap $100 price tag on it and call it a year.
Then it's up to aljo to keep this forum in line for a year until the cycle repeats. We're the idiots for buying their product.
