Also having this issue on Xbox, have used the last name Tapper every year but this year it says the name is offensive and can't be used. The name is also available to choose from in the play by play drop down list the last couple of years but have never heard any of the in game broadcast team say the name.

Can you both try again? It went through fine our testing, but we also added those names through the filter just to make sure.

Why are peoples actual names deemed offensive but I played [REMOVED] and [REMOVED] the other night and reported them but was told no action would be taken?

Edit: Removed offensive names. In the future, send a private message to a CM or mod about them. If can send me a message with all the details, I'll pass it on to the team for review. -CM

Dude they even got yours??   You've been using that FOREVER...I remember playing against you way back in the 360 days.... the filter now so annoyingly sensitive to some stuff, and completely ignorant to others

I’m having the same issue with my last name. I’m trying to use Deshais but it’s saying it’s offensive. I have to take the i out of it and it works. How can this be fixed? It started happening in NHL and now Madden
