It's pretty strange those files would just randomly be deleted. Unfortunately, I can't explain that. Did support take you through any troubleshooting steps? About all I can think of is power cycling your console and network equipment. You could also try deleting the personal saved data. That can revert the NHL 24 settings to default and delete local saves, but those normally download from the cloud. If you'd like to try that, follow these steps:

1. Press the Guide button and then highlight the NHL 24 tile
2. Hit the Menu button. It's the small one to the right of the Guide button with 3 horizontal lines on it
3. Next, go to Manage game and add-ons > Saved data. Delete the file with your gamertag on it

Don't delete from everywhere. Just the local data.
