We could easy do another 100 page thread again ablut it but it is not worth it anymore to beg and ask for the presentation we all hockey fans want so bad in the game.I am probably the biggest presentation nerd around but i think it is not the plan the EA NHL developpment team have for the game going forward so better to accept the fact that we probably never again going to have it in the game.

Wouldn’t even be surprised if EA decided to pull the plug on OFFLINE… They can turn this game into a "fortnite" hockey game if they want. Clown suits, giant heads, Green fluorescent skates and gloves. Why not ? This is the direction of every game out there nowadays. No ? Oh, wait… 🤔

Yes i think it is possible they take away offline in someway in the near future that would atleast explain why they do not care about it at all in todays NHL games sadly enough.
If we truly didn't care about offline modes, we wouldn't have long term plans for them. I know it's extremely disappointing for the offline crowd and I can't apologize enough for that. Online modes were prioritized this year as those are the most popular modes and a huge amount of community feedback was received for them. This does not mean at all that we intend to remove offline modes or not support them in the future. There are plans for them down the road.

But, How many years in a row now that online has been the no1 priority ?
I know for a fact that lots of people are playing OFFLINE and also lots of people left the series because it has been neglected by EA. Maybe that’s why you are receiving less feedback ? Because these people just don’t care anymore ? And this year it’s no different unfortunately 😕
Aljo, what are these numbers you are talking about ? I also see a HUGE community feedback over at OS… Lots of people play, Franchise, Seasons, BAP…if I was not vocal about playing offline, how would you know that I play it ? My Gameplay Setup has more than 12 000 views in about a month since it’s been out… And my other hardcore set of 23 more than 73 000… All people playing OFFLINE… That’s just my numbers. Lots more going on in the offline world.

Community ManagerTo be fair, online didn't receive a ton of updates for 23 as well. That was so the team could focus more on NHL 24 since there are some very big changes and additions with it. We only have so much time between games so the priority was on online modes and gameplay. Again, offline modes aren't being left out forever. I'm not denying there are a lot of people that enjoy offline modes. We just can't get everything in that everyone is requesting in a single year.
Well some good news for the presentation Seems like the white very disturbing background is gone?and the black background theme is back i am really hoping for this.

I can understand if there focus this year was on gameplay I'm very excited on seeing how it plays out, if anything on presentation at all can come back even just a little bit for me personally and just my own opinion is goal replays,
They just go way to fast in 23 , I want to be able to see the goal I was able to earn as it glides across the ice and you see the snow come up as the puck goes stick to stick then into the net as the camera goes around the net with the mirror of the ice reflecting the ice and the celebration of the goal scorer, I mean ea you made a beautiful game let us enjoy looking at it for more than 2 seconds , may not be important to online players but it is to offline franchise fans. that's all I'm saying,

@coolspot777 @20Portugal04 I would be happy to have it be like nhl 22! Giving the players the option to switch it on and off. It really makes the game feel empty with out it.

@KlariskraysNHL and that’s fine but literally having it like nhl 22 would be good enough. At most the intro in that game was about 1 min at most. Which is why I keep saying to let the player have the choice that way both parties are happy. You don’t need to bite my head off. I’m saying the things I’m saying because I’m not the only one who thinks this idea could work.
@KlariskraysNHL I understand and I apologize. With hut in the beta does that include this hut moments thing I have been hearing about because it sounds awesome being able to relive some historic moments!
@KennyN1220I honestly have no clue how the HUT thing will work. Usually it's just creating a team and then playing Squad Battle and/or Online matches.
Me personally in WoC I hope they have the practice area available so I can practice using the new controls and get myself accustomed to the new changes.
I agree with this presentation mode was great, a really good introduction into the game you where about to go into
So if there is such a limited time between games why don't you take a year or two off and completely overhaul the game? Us fans who have been playing for years are getting tired of playing the same game year after year. Maybe it's time to move away from yearly releases and go back to the drawing board. I'm such a huge fan of nhl but it feels like we haven't had a new game in four years.
Community ManagerA complete overhaul would probably take a few years if you're talking about starting from scratch. There was an overhaul for NHL 15 on Xbox One and PS4. Which is why it was such a barebones game. Over the last 8 years legacy features have returned and new ones have been added as well as a very high amount of overall gameplay changes were made. This year's game is very different. While the foundation from previous games is there, it's really not the copy and paste people assume it to be.
the choice to have full or condensed presentation was in nhl 22, can it really be such a big job to bring the option back for offline modes? ..
also it would be nice to incorporate in-game live scores from games being played simultaneously in your current league (offline) I cant count how many times I barley make the playoff on the last game of the season and it depending on another team loosing their game.
If you weren't charging $70 for what ultimately feels like a patch in most cases folks would likely be less frustrated with EA, but you are charging AAA prices for a game that annually comes with a series of tweaks that in my opinion doesn't warrant the new game price. Other devs are making full blown epics from scratch and charging the same money...me, I went back to 21 where we at least had full presentation and none of this x factor nonsense....been playing since 94 and primarily care about franchise, and these latest iterations have caused me to completely stop buying the games.
