Thanks for the nice feedback, but I’m a bit confused… Are you playing 23 or 24 with the sliders ? Because the clips you are doing are from 24.

Like I said, I tried total control and the line changes is where I got the most problems with 😳 You have to click LEFT on the DPAD for the D and RIGHT for the Forwards 😀

That’s great to hear that it still works for 24… My biggest area of concern was in the player fatigue and recovery in my 2 test games with my sliders AS IS. The pressure system and the goalies don’t really like that mix of 100 Fatigue 😳 I was walking all over the AI when that meter was FULL and that didn’t take a long time, and the goalies flopped like fishes on a dock !

Let me know if you see the same and how you adjusted 🤔😀 Also, it might not really be that bad when you play on 5 minutes periods 🤔

Don’t get me wrong, I certainly see the appeal of playing online and there are aspects to it I prefer. Finding a group to play 6’s with would be like a virtual beer league and although I simply want to sit back and chill when I play, I get wanting to play competitively and especially against humans instead of the pathetic AI.

So I have absolutely no issue with online getting almost all of the attention every year, but it can’t completely bleed into the offline modes with no options to play how we want.

This is the first year it’s blatantly obvious that they picked their target audience, threw on some tunnel vision and made a game to please that audience.

Ironically, growing up the EA NHL series always stood the test of time because it was the closest thing to real life NHL hockey.

I understand your point and your views, but with our setup, I really don’t find the AI to be pathetic… We made so many changes to how they play it’s sick 😀

That being said, have you ever tried my setup ? Our group in the "testing lab" are having the time of our lives right now… I’ve played every game of hockey since 91 and this beats them all easily 😀

I haven’t tried them yet on 24 and I admittedly gave up on 23 fairly early this year.

I did give them a try on 23 a few months ago and I’ve seen there have been changes since then. I did really enjoy your sliders, but no matter how much I tried I just don’t have fun player locking unless I am playing with other people I can fully communicate with.

I also did not download your roster and I know you have mentioned that it is a huge part of it. If one comes available for 24 I will have a look at it, I’m a franchise guy and simulate 90% of the games (only play playoffs and only full games in later rounds) so how players simulate during Franchise mode is more important to me when player editing than how they play on the ice.

I’m like everybody else here, where I’m in awe of the work you have done to bring this game what it is, regardless if I think it’s perfect or not, it’s still the best setup I’ve found and will be using it moving forward.

Man, a HUGE thank you for the nice words !!! 😀 It’s words like these that keeps me going you have no idea. I’ve said this many times, if only one person gets to enjoy the game like I do, it will be WORTH it…

So I would tend to not touch the (Fatigue and Recovery) and maybe the game would play good 🤔 I can’t test it as my Trial is over now 😉
