Re: NHL 24 Tunnel of Doom Goal Celebration?

Please let me skip the celebrations.. It takes ~5s to celebrate, and I've scored over 1000 goals in the last few years of EASHL. That means I'll have to be watching my guy celebrate for roughly 5000 seconds, which is just under an hour and half, and that's only me scoring. If you score 1000, you've probably let in / watched teammates score 6000? 7000 goals, roughly 35,000 seconds or just under 10 hours of watching celebrations over the course of the year. I don't know how you can ethically justify that from the get go, it's legitimately a waste of time.

**Just to note, that's just for EASHL. If you also play HUT, Franchise, Online Versus, etc, then that number drastically increases.

I want to add that I edited my players so they all at least do realistic goal celebrations, and the system doesn't even listen to that. They still do the ridiculous ones even though I told it what celebration to use.

The silence on this matter is making me believe that we will not get the old celebrations back for offline modes. I'm really sad about this since scoring a goal is a big thing in sports and that they ruined that moment with unrealistic arcade cosmetics is just so damaging to the experience.

I'm not kidding when i say that i wouldve not puchased this game even if it was the best offline sim experience ever created due to these. just not a fan at all.

It's rare that we can all agree on something like this. That should be telling to the dev team. I love that they have been sending surveys out, maybe they should be doing that for features to add/remove too. Clearly if they had shown us a preview of this before putting it in the game, we would have said please don't.

I really wish we had an option to turn this off and also the pressure gauge in front of the goalie!
