The reason for the random 50+ collectible items is so you essentially have to spend more money to get the ones you want. That is clear as day to me. The EANHL team is probably getting pressure from higher ups that they need to push this type of content to make more money. Extremely sad.

when the majority of packs in the store are cash only, i think thats all we need to know about easports trying to make this game pay to play.

Made a HUGE mistake going into this event. Not just going after TD players, but didn’t realize the weeklong event was just for more event collectibles and not power up collectibles. Wasted an 89, 90 and a 91 before I realized it. And now I’m stuck with an 85 Patrick Kane because all I get are Larry Murphy and Mark stone 50s.  What a terrible, terrible event.

I feel your pain, I burned two 89 before realizing how difficult and “random” the 50 were. I started retaining my free collectibles last night so what else would I do with them but burn them on the new “pick 6” out of 3 rounds for 9 collectibles. First pack I actually got 4 Patrick Kanes… 2nd pack I received 1. In summary (5 50Pk cards for 18 collectibles assuming each collectible is 3500 coins that netted me 63,000 coins for the 5 and I couldn’t even get the card a PLUS 1)  yes I cashed in and recycled the 50’s for players I didn’t want for the second choice pack. 

I don’t mind this concept I’m looking at the big picture here, what they should have done was tell us up front (this will be a “team builder concept” meaning you have to wait and earn these cards. At this cost though because of the randomness it is by far the most expensive sets due to the randomness. 

i honestly don’t think we should be given “free cards” if you play the game you should be rewarded. You want a particular card you should have to earn it in whateve Format. I can’t stand facing everyone online with the same necas, Bazel cards when they could get that card in one night while I put a focus on building every single team builder card just to have those cards blow by my 93 team builders lol.
