Feb 23/2024. Has anyone seen packs this bad in previous editions of this game. Currently 15 packs available. 5 packs can be only attained by purchase. And 6 packs untradeable. Plus the cost has now seemed to escalate from previous years. Not sure if EA is sending this game in the right direction.

Is it me. Or has EA gone from bad to worse. The pack costs in $ is absolutely ridiculous, and here's hoping no one buys into that trap. But the coin cost of these packs is becoming outrageous. There is a trade deadline pack for 97500 coins or roughly $22.00 in actual money. 1 player. Odds 92+ 2.2%. 90+. 13%. 86. 44@ and 85. 100%. So you are not guaranteed to pull a purple card 86+ and your chances of doing so are less than 50%. And. It's untradeable. What I don't get with all these untradeable cards is. EA you own them all. Players are only renting them. You are not losing money by giving out better cards. But I guess on the flip side. The $ payment is way above lucrative for you. How you can charge the $ you do for packs, and the chances of getting something worthwhile are slim, is beyond me. Thought this game was created for player enjoyment. But I guess something else has changed that trend.
These packs has gone from bad to worse to plain garbage! My teams of recent years used to consist of untradeable players that i grinded out via packs that i got in rewards or packs payed with coins. Mostly anyway. This year it consists of players that i bought from coins. I tried to buy some really expensive packs (with hard earned coins. NEVER with cash!!) but when the reward is zero i stopped doing that. It is useless. I do not understand what EA would lose by spicing up the packs? And all of these upgradable players every week... jeeez!!! And now just as the year before and the year before that, i'm thinking, this is my last year with this game... This time it might be because what the game has turned into. Especially this year.
