Remove the option to Back out of drop ins

Remove the option to quit out of a drop in lobby once its loaded because somebody doesn't like their teammates level/build. Way too many lobbies get completely ruined by 1 person leaving over some nonsense, which causes an entire team to leave or even worse leaving 1 or 2 humans.

There should also be penalties for leaving games once they are started. Often players leave after 1 or 2 goals because they are sooky and want a new match. Please add an hour or atleast half hour penalty to stop these players from lobby hopping.

People are leaving because they have bad connection. It’s very strange when you search just in Europe, you still find American servers and then you have bad connection. They need to bring back lobby like in NHL 14 when you can start up your own and people can see how many are inside and which country they are from and see the connection. Don’t force people like they do now. And this was a good way to find new players or maybe a new team. And you play with your normal club gear and the real arena and can shoes different team colors. It’s so strange when you play sixes in dropping that you cannot use jerseys that you have buy just in 3s. Pointless.

@SnakeSWE Yeah that's fair, maybe have a 10 second grace period where if you load in and see its poor connection you can leave.

I still really think there should be some sort of punishment for leaving a game early though like after getting scored on once. A 30 minute ban would help drop in games feel more competitive.

If they were to add a ban, they should have a reconnect to match option though just incase you lose connection.

You should maybe get some more points when people leaving and people are leaving loose more points also. But sometimes you are in a team that leaving and you are still there then I should not get punished because I’m the only one left or do not finish. But that dont work.

  • No.  It’s my right to whom I play with or against.  If I join a dressing room and don’t like a particular player whether it’s due to their level, build and I’m familiar with that players ability I can leave.  If it makes it to the lobby and I don’t like the matchup, for example facing a team of platinums then I should also be able to leave.  So if I’m teammates with for example a couple of newbies I should be forced to play against a set team of platinums or better?

In game, if I notice a player or two sucks so bad resulting in us having no chance at winning then I should be able to leave.  I’ve also been in games winning by 5 or more goals and wish the other team would quit.  If the game isn’t a competitive match then nobody should be forced to play it out.

What I’d like to see is that when in a game of 6’s becomes a team of 3 or less than the game ends.  The team of 3 or less takes the loss.  I’ve been on both sides and a team with 2 or more replacement AI players can easily change the momentum and outcome of the game.
