Geofencing on, 1000 KM radius around the GTA. Its Saturday- 4pm EST when everyone is online. I can only route to a western Canadian server and play people local to that area.
Why? Is this a mistake by EA, A server outage in the southern USA or... Built in routing logic?
I'm assuming this is routing logic by EA. Once again, no other issue with any other games, or accessing local servers.
I've restarted the router, the modem. once again, no issues with any other game. It seems purposeful. No local games to be found for the last 5 hours?
Do you notice no response from EA - We are waiting

Its trash. Im a Division 2 player, try to play most of my games on weekends. I cant ever get a good connection.
With so many people in the GTA, you think they would have a server local to EST canada or at least, allow us to connect to one... Its insane.
Im going to check this daily and create a calendar and time map. Eventually I will understand how EA sports Server Routing works depending on day.
im also goign to create a lowe overall team to see if there is a difference, that will tell me if routing is tied to team overall/ win stereaks.
Im goign to crack this one and if there is something scripted going on where we are all being routed to crap servers because it makes us spend more....It will be apparent.

My Theory: Execs employee data scientists to do research and modeling.
- If we allow players to connect to local servers early in the week (Monday to Weds) they will win, experience some great game play and feel good. In order to mitigate rewards given out we just decrease rewards from this mode and only make it achievable to players who play all 25 weekly games before champs.
-If we route them to distant servers on Thursdays through to Sunday after some early week success, they will tolerate the losses, wonder what happened, and argue amongst themselves saying "get good".
In both instances from a psychology aspect, your chasing a dangling carrot. Those conditions are similar to those that make people addictive gamblers. They spend money with the perception that they have more control of the outcome then they do.
Guys, im going to make a reddit thread on this. If anyone has a geofiltering router like I do.. lets work together to get some data on how this routing stragety works.
