Server Selection- NHL 24- PS5 (GTA)

Hi, Im located in the GTA and have a router that geofences. Using this tech, I can see where the servers are that I connect to as well as players.

The two best ea servers relative to toronto are located in Virginia and Iowa. There is also one in Quebec.

For the last two days ( since I added TOTY players to my roster) , I can not find a game in rivals and champs on a local server. EA will only allow me to connect to a server located in Western Canada.

This is not an issue with any other game I own, its specific to NHL 24 and the servers.

Can you please help me understand why I'm geolocked to a server I'm going to lose every game on? My MS on this server is 30-56. Why can't I connect to the 3 servers local to me which I can win games on?

Look at response number 3 - he did all of that .LOL . The basic power cycle your equipment stuff is not going to work here. You have someone that works in the field with geo tracking equipment that wants and deserves real answers. What he says makes sense about winning at certain times and then going on 6- 12 games losing streaks playing the same way. Something just didn't seem right.

Have you guys ever read that UCLA study done on EOMM? You'd never believe what gaming studio provided them the data to do this study.....
On the other hand are we really going to credit the gaming studio that seemingly can't make a functioning hockey game every year with the ability to employ something so nefarious into some of their products?
