Thanks for the clips. Nothing has changed recently with shoves in front of the net, but we'll keep an eye out for any issues. Regardless, there won't be any more updates for NHL 24 so we'll most likely just have to wait and see what's coming in 25.
I hope net battles are improved. using triangle would be nice to see an improvement.
however I’ve noticed the bumping does work pretty good. If I’m stationary and they walk into my I can give them pretty good bumps If I’m ready for it
also @EA_Aljo what stat helps with assisting in the bumping ? Is it body checking ?

I'm trying to find out what stats affect shoves. I assume body checking and strength. I'll let you know when I have some info.
Personally, I use the stick tie-up instead of Y/Triangle. It's still tricky to engage since you can't do this to a player in motion. It does come in very handy though.

For context, that build I'm using in the clip on RD is a 6'1 180lbs PMD with 88 strength 80 body check and 75 balance with silver shutdown perk. For net front shoving in my experience I haven't noticed any benefit to higher balance on builds that offer that as a trade off over more speed or agility, they all seem to have the same capabilty to shove regardless of how much i try and build for that aspect of defense. Perks like bouncer or truculence seem to have no actual benefit for shoving even though it does "light up" when used as a gold perk on the DD. As far as using the tie up and net front battle function they are just more unreliable and slower than shoving imo, coupled with the fact that any skilled forward isn't staying stationary long enough to really get them tied up Im usually just sticking to trying to shove them. I still initiate the net front tie up from time to time just by skating into someone and trying to shove but I'd rather send them stumbling off balance a few strides away from the danger zone rather then them pulling out of the tie up just to tip a shot at the right moment.

I have the hardest time getting the net battles to engage. The stick tie up works for me, but of course it's dependent on the forward being stationary and good players tend to keep moving. As you mentioned, shoving them is often better. When I have some news, I'll let you know.

Hey, @johnny2fingaz
I looked into this and found that strength is the main stat assisting with bumps.
