Could EA make it so Gaming World Championship is head to head connection like Online Versus? HUT is not skill based once you get to Division 2 and above. There is a unfair advantage to players who are located to EA servers. Ping plays such a huge factor in the gameplay and I guarantee all of the Div 1 players are located close to your servers. However Online Versus is a totally fair game field.
I thought HUT Champ was about the skills of us players. But after playing 10 matches, I found out that it's not a game where players measure their skills against each other... It's about getting the puck quickly and scoring a goal with a bug-cross pass. I didn't see anything in any game that resembled hockey, settling in the zone, spreading the players out, making a few passes and showering the goalkeeper with a lot of shots from the blue line... Momentary actions in the offensive zone last a maximum of 20 seconds when you able to defend free space near the post for a while.
Unfortunately there is a glitch in the game that allows players to quit the game and still earn the win with peer to peer connections.
I'd like to hear EA's thoughts on this. Sucks if that's true about the glitch in versus as I haven't come across that yet.

HUT does not use peer to peer connections. All of HUT is played on dedicated servers.
And your dedicated servers create an unfair advantage. How can you have a "Gaming World Championship" but not have it as an in person tournament or head to head connection.
