@Jeff_frm_Edmond s To a friend in one thread here I posted a video of how a 72 value silver player totally nailed my 88 Josi. So what was so special about him that he destroyed him like that.???

We really need to see the build of the "72" card but it's clear Josi is off balance performing a deke and anyone could really blow him up there.
As I stated earlier, the AI will be near perfect when playing Squads on Superstar.
@Jeff_frm_Edmonds Another win against the 92 Featured Squad. I scored 5 goals on 16 shots. I posted videos of 2 of the goals. My question to you is what does it has to do with tactics and player ratings? I just put the puck to the net. I was the first one surprised when I scored these 2 goals.

That looks to be Brett Hull on goal 1, correct?
If so, he's known to have a pretty good shot. His Gallery of Greats is 99 shot with Sniper FWD & Shooting Boost active (95 without) and his PUI can go to 95. I don't remember the goalie in that game but sniping far side off the rush is one of the popular goals in NHL games and with a SNP like Hull should be pretty successful, especially if you can add some Abilities on him like Gold Shnipe on the GoG card.
2nd goal looked to be tipped. if not, the goalie is screened by the player in the circle. That also looked to be Bobby Orr and if you have Heatseeker on that's an automatic goal. I toss Heatseeker on all my D-men and that's one of my go to plays.
I know there are players that are good enough on the sticks to do that with Base cards but pretty sure the majority of players need cards like GoG Hull & Orr and their stats & abilities to score goals like that. If more people could do that with Base cards they would.

Are you serious or you're just getting paid by EA to say things like that? I meant I just threw the puck to the net at a 92 John Gibson to get a line change on the first video. I wasn't expecting a goal at all.

Pretty sure the highest rated Gibson card is the 89 Nations of Hockey card.
If that's the one, I think the stats in question would be stick side, position & maybe vision. All those are 90 but it's still facing Hull with 99 shooting and 99 is better than 90. Your video is from the replay so we don't know if its been under pressure or the last time it had to make a save. Durability is at 85 and it will take longer for him to gain the energy back.
At 6'2" the reach would also be shorter making a save like the one in the video more difficult than some of the larger goalies in game.
