Tips On How To Practice Total Control
Figuring out total control can be tricky. Here were some tips that help me practice total control.
1) Pick settings at Rookie Level
2) Set all sliders in your favor. I made the AI really slow and really bad while I made human player at best possible.
3) Create a super team.
4) Set all lines with your best players.
5) Go to Play Now.
When I started playing at this settings, the AI is not that good and it gives me ways to experiment with the controls. For example, I can time my faceoff with the right stick at same time ref puts puck down. I learned to to use the RT button to make passes and change players while on defense. Since AI is slow, I have practiced the timing of the body checks. Since Goalies are not that good, I calibrate right stick to make a slap shot or wrist shot; putting right stick at full will make the slapper. One of my favorite features is the behind the legs shots.
I am doing this while I wait for Hybrid controls.
