Update on Hybrid Controls and Goalie Tethering

Hello, everyone. We received a high amount of feedback on the removal of Hybrid controls as well as thoughts on the new goalie tethering system. The below announcement was made on our Twitter channel...

As we previously stated, these would return post-launch. I don't have a date, but obviously we want it back as soon as possible. When we have some news, we'll make an announcement on our official channels.

I guess I missed where they said it would be POST launch, thanks for the update.

Does this also mean old goalie controls will return post launch as well?

    Having played with hybrid controls for years, using triggers to switch players and pass, and using the analog stick for faceoffs is not intuitive at all.

      @EA_Aljo i can only play with one hand. Unfortunately, with both control selections, I can't play NHL. hybird control was perfect for me. I hope EA brings hybrid ​​control back. if not, then I feel excluded from EA
