I don't understand why EA SPORTS would remove HYBRID CONTROLS that many LOYAL GAMERS of EA NHL have used for many years ? I know I won't purchase this game until HYBRID CONTROLS return.
Yes I know they said it would be in the first update, but that is totally unacceptable.
I genuinely feel as though we (old and/or disabled people) deserve some kind of compensation.
I'm falling SO far behind :'(

Not to be silly but how about adding at LAUNCH ? Your leaving out your most LOYAL GAMERS to EA NHL until this is fixed ?
I love Hybrid controls, I hate not having my LT to slide, tethering is aweful, when I wander to the edge of the crease I want to stay there...not drift back into the net. Now you have players mashing Y to Michigan, goalies are hosed. Please hurry with the feature patch
Community ManagerWhile I don't agree that only our most loyal players were using Hybrid controls, I agree that we need to get them back in the game as soon as possible. Which, is what we're working on. There is no ETA at this time though. All I can say is soon.
That's just extremely disappointing and sad it tells you how close they are with the people that play offline modes.
I am holding my breath until tomorrow. I will give them to the launch and a day one patch to include Hybrid Control, otherwise I will return the game and play NHL 23 for another year. I have this sneaking suspicion they are going to mess with hybrid controls and it will be released different than what we are used to.
I hope i am wrong and the day one patch gives us what we paid for.
I really hope they‘ll bring it back. I just played a few games and its just … 😕
