Why not the 94 controls? You are making the game unplayable for me and the older generation. I understand you added more to the game and now I can’t play it . And now you’re telling me I’ve wasted my money because of this. Your team is going to lose a lot of people from this. People fromthe 70s,80s and 90s that. loved the the 94 controls. This is not good practice.

This is not good practice. Outside of those with disabilities, I really don't understand why people have used NHL 94 controls. You're limiting yourself and instantly at a disadvantage versus someone adept at skill stick/total control. You do realize that not everyone plays online, right? Some of us just want to play a game or two after a hard day's work, score a dozen or so goals against the Maple Leafs, and have a little fun. I really don't care to learn how to make my player do lacrosse goals or pass between the legs using a combination of triggers, bumpers, and sticks better suited for a Tekken tournament.

The type of info you put out there prior to presale. Had I known this before presale I wouldn't have purchased NHL 24. Simple as that.Do the same as with hybrid controls and bring back NHL 94 controls. Nothing complicated. We've been purchasing this game for so many years now and still this disrespect and dishonesty.So disapointed in you EA Sports

Hello, how do I pick 94 controls on NHL 24?I don’t see an option please help me find it, I can’t stand playing the stick control. I’ve always hated it and the 94 option was the easiest for me to play since the 90’s

Luckily I was able to return my copy to Amazon. It sure would have been nice EA if you disclosed this change with the new release so I wouldn't have had to go through the aggravation of ordering and returning the game. If significant changes like these are applied to Madden and FIFA, I will discontinue buying those games annually too.

Please bring back 94 controls, the game is much more straight-forward to play with them and I feel wasted of my money.

@KlariskraysNHL Some of you seem to want to talk about your video game obsession in your 40s like it’s some kind of brag. Some of us have normal lives that don’t lend hours of our days and weekends playing a variety of video games. Congratulations on having that kind of time on your hands.. I guess.

I never claimed the 94 controls were advertised for those with disabilities, but you literally have people on here telling the company they need it because of their disabilities. If that has been a known thing and they took it away, it’s disgusting.

EA should do the right thing and bring the basic controls back they’ve had for a generation. Having a spokesperson and defenders come at those criticizing this decision for not playing video games as much as they do is comically asinine and will push customers away.

There must be a way to update the game and bring back 94 controls. I wish I had known before buying the game. I buy a lot of EA games and this might just be the last.

55 year old playing since 94 controls were just know as fun controls, if there is no patch or fix for the lack of controls, it will be my last EA NHL purchase.

Why would you take out control systems? You already built them and have the code. Saying that 94 controls are not longer available is a stupid statement since that indicates they are a product that is no longer in production and even Amazon doesn't carry it. LOL! I'm back on NHL 23 and doubt I'll touch 24 again after several hours of trying to play the game the way you crammed down everyone's throat.

The skill stick does not work for everybody. For casual players like myself this series has lost me. I did not buy last years edition because it was so similar to the previous years. This year I got the demo and tried that skill stick. Did not like it. Sorry but I am old school.
