So maybe this is a stupid question but you are aware of the control changes for hitting this year, right?
Right stick up is just a shove.
Right stick down or B/O to load up a big (shoulder) hit.

Yes of Course i am aware of that stupid idea of changing the controls too . If EA dont fix this game they should be fired all of them
- MarvnZindler2 years agoNew AceI personally really enjoy the hitting in 24. I couldn't hit at all in 23, so I had like 800 in like 900 games. I've already got over 1k hits in my first 100 games in 24.
I think the mechanics of the hitting are great. My only complaint would be how few of the hits are truly devastating. You can run a big defenseman with gold truc and high hitting stats and absolutely flatten a 5'7 160 forward, then he just pops back up instantly. I think the big hits really need to have a heavier impact on the receiving player.- recipe872 years agoNew Ace
Okey thats really strange because i have realy tried to hit people with puck or without puck and it is crap and when i hit someone it isnt hard at all . I have been a really big hitter för many years and now i giving up on this game and play som other game or do something else . Bye
- MarvnZindler2 years agoNew Ace@recipe87 Idk, I run a big hitting build (6'2" 210lbs, Truc + shutdown, 91 checking 93 strength) so maybe I'm just getting more big hits overall. In general, my only issue really with the hitting in 24 is how guys pop up almost immediately after a huge hit. Not every big hit should send a guy to the hospital, but a big hit on a much smaller player should take a moment for that player to recover.
