What are the exact buttons used (Hybrid Control) to take faceoffs in NHL 24? And how to use them.

Okay... once you take control of the right stick, do you pull it down when the ref drops the puck? I have done this numerous times and have never won a face-off. Never had a problem with NHL 22 or 23. Please advise, and thank you!

Community ManagerYes, but this is dependent on which grip your opponent is using. Pulling straight back will attempt to win the puck back, but if your opponent recognizes you're going to do this, they may stick lift or tie you up. The stick lift is done by moving your right stick either clockwise or counter-clockwise from 6 - 12. It depends if you choose a forehand or backhand grip. There are YouTube tutorial videos for faceoffs you might want to take a look at.
