What's wrong with Total Control, exactly?
I'm genuinely curious as to why so many people are asking for Total Control to be removed outright from the game.

@TTZ_Dipsy You shouldn’t get to just click a button for dekes especially when someone dekes the game is awful at pick pickups. It’s basically a get out of jail card for offense when they skate into a bad position they can just hit a button to get out of their mistake.
Back in the day you had to master each deke and it took practice and precision to do it right.
It makes playing the game less rewarding when the game just does everything for you.

Back in my day you had to wiggle the dpad back and forth and just pretend you were deking like the pros but yes, the golden days of manual dekes were definitely the best (one arm extend into a windmill was my favourite).
I was never a fan of the one touch deke system because it felt like there was no fluidity to it - Total Control isn't exactly pushing any boundaries but I feel like just removing it wouldn't serve any purpose either.
Feels like people are just lashing out after losing their literal 30 year old '94 controls
For me, I don't think it should be removed but what bothers me is that things that are actually difficult to do in real life like the one handed tuck and the Michigan are tied to 1 button and are easy to pull off. If you can't do these things, then im sorry but you shouldn't be spoon fed an easier way to do them. The Michigan is complex in real life and is rarely attempted and should be that way. Someone scored it now and it's just another goal.
This is also coming from someone who can't do it in rhe game. If I really wanted it in my offensive game, I would learn how to do it and practice it, just like real life.
For one hand tuck all they really removed was L1. I agree things are getting too dumbed down/simple but *shrug*, not like it's all that effective anyway
I attempted a Michigan, like, once and found it to be totally stupid - I reckon a lot of people felt the same way and EA was embarrassed they wasted so much time adding it.
