@TTZ_Dipsy I just started playing in a top 100-filled online versus league recently and it amazed me how good everyone is at hitting Michigans with this new Total Control system. Prior to that, I had NEVER seen anyone pull off a Michigan even WITH the new Total Control system in an online versus game in all of my 70 or so games played. I noticed how effective it was and went to practice mode to learn it and now I can pull it off more often than not with a good deke-ing player.
I think the main issue is that too many different kinds of players can pull off the Michigan using the TC system. I pulled it off with Vincent Trochek in a live versus game. That should never happen, honestly. Don't get me wrong, I feel like it should be possible with the SKILL STICK, but not with the TC system.
To put it in simple terms: I feel like the Michigan should be possible to do with the Total Control system IF the player being used has a 92+ or so deking stat. IF the controls being used are Skill Stick controls, then drop that threshold down. Does that make sense?
Other than that, I don't have a problem with the TC controls because I adapted. Though of course, hip-check needs to be seriously altered. You shouldn't be able to just fly at dudes who are retrieving the puck in the corner behind their net face-down-butt-up and destroy them.

I can't tell you how many times I've been hip checked and said "How was that possible I was past him!"

@RelentlessJ69not to mention they can literally chase you down from behind while in hip check position, and hip check you while traveling in the same direction. All while holding one conveinent button.
