Minus hipcheck and michigan I wouldnt have a problem with it, I would call it skill stick 2.0. But right now TC trump all the other controls, this is not an even ground even if what you do of the abilities and your hockey IQ is worth 90% of your gameplay.
Shooters always have 2-3 sets of controls, they are all equally good or bad. You don't get a control setting that allow you to make a 360 no scope head shot with the press of one button, the only difference is how you prefer your buttons mapped.
I'm going to test out the reverse hit change later, if it feel a lot better I'm just going to switch back to TC...because why staying on a build that make it unnecessarily more difficult after all.
Btw, are they going to add pin board back for player with the puck on TC? I didnt see anything about this yet.
I just played my first game of online versus against a rando. This dude tried to Michigan like 10 or 15 times... never landed them. Even though I won it was so annoying. I also think you shouldn't be able to do one tuck dekes and tog drag shots with one button.
If people want to use total control that is fine, but I don't want to play against them. I don't think this idea would work in WoC, but I think one v one modes like Online Versus or HUT we should be given a choice to exclude people using total control from our matchmaking pool. That way total control isn't removed and I don't need to deal with them.
